That this House expresses sympathy to the family of Peter Tork and to his surviving bandmates in the Monkees pop group; recalls with fondness the entertainment that he and the Monkees gave through their upbeat music and comedic genius in their television series; and notes the pleasure that successive generations have had and will have due to the wholesome fun and lighthearted music that the Monkees provided.
