The motion
That this House acknowledges the outrageous fee that some utility companies charge their customers who opt to receive paper versions of their bills; recognises that 4.8 million people did not use the internet in 2018; notes that this charge unfairly affects hardworking families and elderly people who do not have access to either a computer or the internet; further notes the impact of this charge on the cost of living; and urges the Government to prevent companies from imposing disproportionate charges for issuing paper bills.
