PROVISION OF PET-CT SCANNING SERVICES IN OXFORDSHIRE

That this House expresses grave concern over the changes to PET-CT scanning services at the Churchill Hospital in Oxfordshire; notes that through a formal procurement procedure the Government has changed the service provider to InHealth; calls on the Government to give assurances about the implications for accessibility, cost and quality of care by moving the scanning service from Churchill Hospital as a result of awarding the contract to InHealth; and calls on the Government to ensure no patients are jeopardised as a result.
