STRATHBUNGO WINDOW WANDERLAND

That this House congratulates the residents of Strathbungo on holding their Annual Window Wanderland event, a fantastic community initiative to create art installations in the windows of homes; appreciates the creative efforts required to transform the streets of Strathbungo into a beautiful outdoor gallery; notes the event included a live juke box, the Pollywood pop-up cinema and musical entertainment from Brass, Aye; considers this event’s contribution to the wider cultural landscape of Glasgow; thanks Strathbungo resident Sarah Reid for starting this event in Glasgow following the initial event in Bristol in 2015; and looks forward to the Strathbungo Window Wanderland going from strength to strength in the future.
