EMPOWER WOMEN FOR CHANGE

The motion
That this House congratulates Empower Women for Change on the award of a £9,700 National Lottery Awards for All Scotland grant from The National Lottery Awards for All Scotland grant from The National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will use the funding to deliver a series of workshops and weekly drop-ins to disadvantaged and disengaged BME women living in Glasgow; appreciates that the organisation aims to build the capacity of women to enable them to actively build sustainable livelihoods, tackle poverty and climate change, and improve health and wellbeing outcomes; and wishes them every success for the future.
