That this House notes the vital and urgent need for the development a new acute hospital in South West Hertfordshire built on a green field site; is deeply concerned by the existing hospital's deteriorating infrastructure at the existing Watford site; acknowledges the issues faced in recruiting and retaining staff at the Watford Hospital; further notes the extra pressure put on Watford's A&E services due to the closure other local healthcare facilities in Hemel Hempstead and St Albans over recent years.
