The motion
That this House welcomes the publication of #ZEROHIV, HIV Scotland's new strategic plan, commends their commitment of getting to zero new HIV transmissions, zero HIV-related deaths and zero HIV-related stigma; notes the importance of PrEP, a pill that HIV-negative people can take to prevent HIV in combating HIV transmissions and U=U (undetectable = untransmissible); further notes the importance of the globally recognised fact that someone living with HIV on effective treatment with an undetectable viral load can't pass it on to their sexual partners in combating stigma; believes that their goal is both commendable and achievable; and invites all hon. and right hon. Members to work with HIV Scotland to get Scotland to zero.
