BRITISH DIETITIANS WEEK 3 TO 7 JUNE 2019

That this House notes that British Dietitians Week takes place between 3 and 7 June 2019; commends the excellent work done by dietitians providing dietary advice and nutritional support to people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes to manage their condition through diet; further notes that this work helps to tackle the obesity crisis in the UK; and calls on the Government to support the NHS in funding clinical trials of different diets to see which one promotes better outcomes for those with diabetes.
