SIR BOYD TUNNOCK

That this House congratulates Sir Boyd Tunnock, the owner of Tunnocks, on his knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List; notes that Tunnocks is responsible for the production of a number of world-renowned cakes and biscuits including the caramel wafer, the teacake and the snowball; understands that Sir Boyd also supports the community of Uddingston and is involved in a number of local projects and charities; commends Sir Boyd and his family for their contribution to the Scottish and UK economy; and wishes him every success in the future.
