PASSING OF SECOND WORLD WAR VETERAN EDDIE SPENCE

That this House notes with sincere sympathy the passing of 94 year old Royal Marine Veteran Eddie Spence; assures his sons Terry and Edward and their families of its thoughts and prayers at this time of grief; notes the poignancy of this veteran hero's passing during the D-Day commemorations week; and joins with the community of Newtownards in honouring the memory of a man who served his King and Country in its greatest hour of need.
