YOUNG CARERS

That this House recognises the importance of young carers; highlights the pressures and strains that they can experience through their caring responsibilities and the effect that this can have on their education; notes that schools have an important role in identifying young carers; and urges Ofsted to review the processes by which young carers are identified and supported.
