STRATHAVEN PARKS WEE TRAIN 70TH ANNIVERSARY

That this House celebrates Strathaven's Miniature Railway and Model Society's celebration of Strathaven Park's Wee Train's 70th anniversary, where the society held an open day on 15 June and donated the proceeds to Kilbryde Hospice; acknowledges Secretary lan Samson and the Society's efforts to bring like-minded groups together to celebrate the Wee Train and community of Avondale by inviting others to attach their model trains to the Wee Train and mingle at the Wee Train stops; and commends the engineers and friends of Strathaven Park for all of their work in bringing such happiness to children and families via the Wee Train.
