CUPAR ROUND TABLE GOOD CAUSES

That this House congratulates Cupar Round Table for raising over £200,000 for good causes in the Cupar and wider Fife area since chartering in 1963; recognises the tremendous effort and teamwork involved in organising the annual Bridge to Bridge Hike, walking over 50 miles in 24 hours from the Forth Rail Bridge to the Tay Rail Bridge; notes that the club has raised over £16,000 over the last five years and benefitted local charities including CLIC Sergeant 2015, Maggie's Fife 2016, Toby's Magical Journey 2017, Fife Young Carers 2018 and Fife Gingerbread 2019, and further notes that this year's event on Saturday 22 June attracted a record number of participants, involved more people completing the entire hike route, recorded the quickest finish and the highest ever amount of money raised.
