ULLAPOOL MUSEUM: QUEEN'S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE

That this House congratulates Ullapool museum on receiving the Queen's Award for voluntary service; recognises that the award is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work in their communities; acknowledges that Ullapool Museum is one of 281 award winners 2019 and was presented with a certificate and a crystal memento by the Lord Lieutenant, Janet Bowen at a recent event at the museum marking the occasion; puts on record its admiration for the hard work and dedication of volunteers from the local community who ensure that Ullapool's local story is presented and preserved; and wishes luck to the museum's volunteers and the wider community in their continuing successful efforts to protect, promote and preserve Ullapool's story.
