That this House commends the outstanding work of Mr Jardine Paterson from Paterson Partners in providing a continuous commitment to the economic wellbeing of Strathaven and its community; notes that Mr Paterson has donated considerable funds towards the upkeep of cemeteries within Strathaven; recognises his innovative development at East Overton in regards to the thistle statues; further notes his financial contribution towards the Rifleman Khan and the Lance Corporal Muldoon statues; notes his commitment to preserving wildlife in his community and celebrates his efforts of planting over 3,000 trees on his land; and congratulates Mr Paterson on his ongoing hard work which will be recognised and appreciated by Strathaven's community for years to come.
