DRUMCHAPEL TABLE TENNIS CLUB 30TH ANNIVERSARY

That this House congratulates Drumchapel Table Tennis Club on its 30th anniversary; notes the extensive list of honours won by the club, including the Scottish National League 2016/17 and British National League Premier Division 2016/17; acknowledges the role the club has played in nurturing elite players who have gone on to represent Scotland at international events, including the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow; commends the club's tireless work in the local community by bringing people together through the sport, with 250 young people regularly playing at the club; recognises the positive way in which the club represents Drumchapel and Glasgow in everything that it does; further recognises the contribution of Terry McLernon MBE, whose drive and enthusiasm has been key in the club’s success; and wishes the club success in all its future endeavours.
