NSPCC SCOTLAND’S PICTURE THIS: IMAGES OF CHILDHOOD IN GOVAN EVENT

That this House congratulates the NSPCC Scotland on their Picture This: Images of Childhood in Govan photo exhibition event on 1 August 2019 in Govan, Glasgow; notes that the event showcased the photo diaries project which followed nine families in Govan over a three month period to capture what childhood in Govan looks like to them; further notes that this project was undertaken as part of Together for Childhood, a new innovative and evidence-informed partnership approach aiming to bring local organisations and families together to make Govan a safe place for children to grow up; and welcomes this celebration of family life focusing on community and the positives of growing in Govan.
