GLASGOW GAELS, GAELIC ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION SCOTLAND 2019 SENIOR CHAMPIONS

That this House congratulates the Glasgow Gaels on winning the GAA Scotland 2019 Senior Men’s Championship, the first time since 2006; believes that this success is an indication of the dedicated and hard work of players, coaches and volunteers of the club and is very well deserved; and understands that this Championship win caps off a very important period for GAA Scotland following on from the recent opening of their Sports Community Hub in Clydebank which will ensure that the sport will continue to grow as links between GAA Scotland and local Irish diaspora strengthen.
