Athletics World Championships

That this House notes the British golds in the Women's heptathlon and 200m at the Athletics World Championships; congratulates Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Dina Asher-Smith on their tremendous achievements as well as the rest of team GB; thanks the coaches and those who put so much time and effort behind the scenes to get these victories; and reaffirms this House's determination to sow into sport funding in order to ensure that those blessed with sporting ability can access the support and help they need to achieve their potential on the sporting stage.
