Bangor Climate Strike

That this House acknowledges that there is a climate emergency and that without fast and meaningful action, future generations will face its worst consequences; commends Bangor Climate Strike for putting the climate emergency at the top of the political agenda in Gwynedd; applauds their public campaigning and making a stand for their own futures and the future of our planet; notes the role that students and young people have played in Wales, the UK and across the world in bringing the climate emergency to the attention of policy makers and the public; and calls on the Government to promote radical global action to reverse the effects of climate change.
