Benarty Fundraisers Splash 4 Cash 2020

That this House congratulates Benarty Fundraisers on organising another successful Splash 4 Cash event on New Year's Day 2020; notes that the annual event involves members of the local community having a dip in the waters of Loch Ore within Lochore Meadows Country Park, known locally as The Meedies on 1 January to raise money for local good causes; understand that 40 brave splashes took part this year, raising over £6000 in addition to hundreds and 116kg worth of food donations to the local food bank; pays credit to James Fotheringham, Gordon Mackie, and all at Benarty Fundraisers for making this event such a success; and hopes to see Splash 4 Cash continued for many years to come.
