AWARDS FUNDING: CEANN CREIGE HURLING AND CAMOGIE CLUB

The motion
That this House congratulates Ceann Creige Hurling and Camogie Club for recently securing funding totalling £6,825 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the club which based in Glasgow East constituency will use the funding to run a series of hurling and camogie block taster sessions to children between the ages of 4-14 in schools across the east end of Glasgow; commends the club on its efforts and ambitions to get young local people involved in the sport, which promotes teamwork and physical activity; and wishes the club every success in the future.
