National Pub and Bar Awards 2020

That this House congratulates Staggs, also known as The Volunteer Arms, on being named Pub of the Year in the Lothians by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA); notes that CAMRA reward the industry for consistently selling real ale in good condition, on its excellent service, welcome, atmosphere, style, decor, value for money and community focus; understands that Staggs will compete for overall winner for Edinburgh and South East Scotland; having won Pub of the Year for the UK in 1998 and the Best in the Lothians award 25 times; and wishes Staggs every continued success in this competition and for 2020 and beyond.
