CamGlen Covid Support Group

That this House notes that the coronavirus pandemic has seen community initiatives spring up across Scotland to help people who are self-isolating and shielding from coronavirus; notes that the CamGlen Covid Support group has been established by Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust, local elected members, local businesses and community councils in Rutherglen, to provide support to residents across Rutherglen and Cambuslang; understands that the group coordinates a network of volunteers to deliver groceries and urgent supplies and provide emotional support to vulnerable residents who are staying at home; and congratulates all the volunteers and praises their outstanding efforts to help others in need at this time of national crisis.
