That this House congratulates Armadilla on its achievement of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its outstanding achievement in innovation; recognises that the family-owned business based in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian specialises in the manufacture of eco-friendly, luxury outdoor living spaces for hotels and hospitality groups; understands that Armadilla’s Hotelier Pods demonstrate sustainability and eco-friendliness by having low energy demands and a lifespan of 50 years with minimum maintenance; and commends Armadilla on its contribution to Midlothian’s reputation as a hub for manufacturing and prime location for enterprise.
