Road closures during the covid-19 outbreak

That this House Congratulates Brighton and Hove City Council on closing Maderia Drive and in being the first council in England to close a road to traffic during the covid-19 outbreak for use for walking and cycling; and calls on the Government to encourage other councils to use road closure powers to allow greater social distancing and promote safety for walkers and cyclists.
