Coronavirus funding for LEAP project

That this House notes that the Lightburn Elderly Association Project has received additional funding of £12,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund to help it deliver assistance during the coronavirus pandemic; understands that this funding will enable LEAP to expand its efforts to tackle loneliness and social isolation amongst older people through their personal shopper service and befriending phone calls; commends LEAP for providing a lifeline service for many older people who are self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic and expresses gratitude to all the staff and volunteers for their outstanding efforts at this time of national crisis.
