That this House pays tribute to all those involved in Kirkcaldy’s Business Improvement District (BID), Kirkcaldy4All, for their efforts in promoting Kirkcaldy by supporting hundreds of businesses across Kirkcaldy and delivering a wide range of projects, events and support initiatives over the last decade; recognises the positive impact of initiatives such as Small Business Saturday and shop local campaigns, free town centre wi-fi, floral enhancements, improved shop fronts and enhanced cleaning, lighting and signage; celebrates the success of events which have been supported by Kirkcaldy4All, including Kirkcaldy Food and Drink Fair, Kirkcaldy Comedy Festival, Fife International Carnival, Kirkcaldy Waterfront Beach Highland Games, Kirkcaldy Beer Festival, Christmas lantern parade and lights switch on and Fife Pride; and welcomes calls for a new model to be developed to support and promote town centre businesses following the decision of Kirkcaldy4All board members not to seek renewal for a third term.
