The motion
That this House congratulates the people of Eritrea on the 29th anniversary of the Liberation of Eritrea on 24 May 2020; understands that 24 May is also the birthday of prisoner of conscience, Aster Fissehatsion who disappeared in September 2001, together with eleven journalists and ten other politicians; and urges the Government of Eritrea to celebrate the Liberation of Eritrea by liberating Aster and the other prisoners of conscience.; understands that 24 May is also the birthday of prisoner of conscience, Aster Fissehatsion who disappeared in September 2001, together with eleven journalists and ten other politicians; and urges the Government of Eritrea to celebrate the Liberation of Eritrea by liberating Aster and the other prisoners of conscience.
