20th anniversary of Orangutan Appeal UK

That this House recognises the national and international importance of Orangutan Appeal UK on its 20th anniversary and the fantastic work of Chairperson and Founder, Susan Sheward MBE; congratulates the organisation on its substantial milestone; commends its award-winning conservation work, especially that dedicated to rehabilitating, protecting and conserving critically endangered orangutans and their natural habitats; lauds its support of projects across South-East Asia, especially the investment of over £2 million into the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Northern Borneo; and recognises the importance of ensuring that the charity, as well as the significant conservation and preservation work it undertakes, continues past its 20th anniversary year into a sustainable future.
