Kinghorn RNLI lifeboat crew

That this House pays tribute to the heroic efforts of Kinghorn RNLI lifeboat’s volunteer crew Mike Chalmers, Matthew Mulligan, Blair Henderson, Fraser Soutar, Kim Chapman, Rob Douglas and Joanne Wibberley in the recent rescue of two men who got into difficulty in a small sailing dinghy and a kayak 2.5 miles out to sea; welcomes the recovery and safe return of the two men who were then assisted by Kinghorn coastguard at Pettycur; notes the importance of RNLI volunteers in continuing to save lives at sea; and commends the Kinghorn crew, in particular, for their continued hard work, courage and selfless efforts over 55 years to keep people safe whilst in Fife’s waters.
