The East Kilbride Covid19 Network

That this House recognises the work of the East Kilbride Covid19 Network throughout the covid-19 outbreak, particularly in delivering thousands of food and toiletry parcels across the local area; draws attention to the work of local charity organisations like Share Alike, Loaves and Fishes, Moncrief Parish Church, the SLC Community Engagement Team, the East Kilbride Citizens Advice Bureau, the East Kilbride Community Foodbank, Older & Active and VASLAN, as well as local councillor John Anderson, for their work in collecting and distributing much-needed provisions to the most vulnerable in the East Kilbride community over the past 12 months; and highlights the sacrifice and care of local volunteers who, in one united spirit, have come together to provide companionship and help to those who have needed it most during this difficult time.
