Zimbabwe Scotland Society funding from the National Lottery

That this House congratulates the Zimbabwe Scotland Society (ZSS) on its award of £7,000 in National Lottery Funding this month; notes that the group will use the funding to tackle the effects of covid-19 on the Zimbabwean community living in Scotland which include loneliness, isolation and loss of income, as well as bringing the community together through online support and peer to peer sessions; recognises that the ZSS is an independent, non-political charity that is seeking to promote Zimbabwean culture amongst people living in Scotland; and welcomes this round of £11 million in National Lottery funding aimed at helping Scottish community groups adapt and recover from the impact of the covid-19 outbreak.
