The High Commissioner of Malta

That this House recognises and sincerely thanks Joseph Cole who as the High Commissioner for Malta was a positive partner for the UK across many areas of common interest and who diligently supported the Maltese diaspora based in the UK especially during the recent Covid pandemic and helping them through the impact of Brexit; thanks the team at the High Commission who have created an excellent working relationship with the APPG Malta; and welcomes the new High Commissioner whenever they may be appointed.
