50 years of West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau

That this House wishes to extend its congratulations to the staff and volunteers of West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau who will be marking its 50th anniversary on the 16th September 2021; believes that those staff and volunteers have provided an invaluable service to the citizens of the West Dunbartonshire district over those 50 years ensuring that individuals do not suffer through a lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, the services available to them or an inability to express their needs; understands that in 2019-20 they advised over 4,925 clients on 28,826 issues and generated £1,725,339 in client financial gains; and wishes the West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau another 50 successful years of supporting the people of Clydebank, Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven.
