Campaign to secure the future of the Covid Memorial Wall

The motion

That this House welcomes the creation of the Covid Memorial Wall on Albert Embankment by Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice; notes that this memorial now includes over 150,000 hand-painted hearts to symbolise all those who lost their lives during the coronavirus pandemic; praises the work of Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice for supporting bereaved families during this time and extends it sympathies to all those grieving the loss of a loved one; thanks all the volunteers who have been working to restore the Covid Memorial Wall which has now begun to fade due to weather exposure; supports the calls for the Covid Memorial Wall to remain a permanent site of remembrance for all those died as a result of Covid-19; and hopes the Government will facilitate the continuation of the memorial site and secure its future.
