Blantyre community group award

That this House congratulates Blantyre community group Bonnie Blantyre and pals on their win of the discretionary award for Community Involvement through Keep Scotland Beautiful Beautiful Scotland competition; recognises their sustained efforts, entering the competition for three years and maintaining their silver gilt status; commends the collective effort of the community in their work, from keeping the town clear of litter to creating a community garden; celebrates Tact Healthy Park and the Blantyre Miners’ Community Garden’s achievement of outstanding in the Keep Scotland Beautiful It’s Your Neighbourhood initiative; and recognises all volunteers for their commitment to making Blantyre a wonderful place to live.
