National Care Practitioner of the Year

That this House congratulates Paul Black on being recognised as National Care Practitioner of the Year at the Barchester Care Awards 2021; recognises Paul’s stellar work at Drummond Grange Care Home in Lasswade, Midlothian; notes that the Barchester Care Awards celebrate the staff who go the extra mile for the benefit of the 12,000 residents living in Barchester’s 248 care homes and private hospitals across the country; understands that more than 2,900 nominations were received from homes and hospitals across the UK; and sends its thanks to all workers across the care sector for the invaluable work they do, especially during such a difficult time.
