That this House congratulates local East Dunbartonshire charity, BetterBriggs, on achieving an outstanding rating in the It’s Your Neighbourhood writeup from the Keep Scotland Beautiful charity; understands BetterBriggs is a local community group consisting of residents who carry out community activities and events to make Bishopbriggs a happier and healthier place to live; notes that the group carry out a number of community projects and are working in partnership with local stakeholders to ensure everyone is involved in the regeneration of the town centre; recognises that their efforts in the community and promoting environmental responsibility contributed to their level 5 score in the It’s Your Neighbourhood writeup; thanks BetterBriggs for all the work they have done over the past year; and looks forward to seeing what more they will achieve for the community.
