Knightswood Community Centre 50th (+1) Anniversary

That this House recognises the important milestone for Knightswood Community Centre as it celebrates its 50th (+1) anniversary; notes that Knightswood Community Centre is a valued asset that has been at the heart of the local community for the last fifty one years, providing a wide range of services, including dance classes, arts and crafts classes, language learning, sporting and fitness activities, health advice and meeting places for local organisations; further notes that Knightswood Community Centre is one of the largest and busiest community facilities in Glasgow; recognises the commitment of the centre staff and centre management to the local community; notes that the 50th anniversary celebrations were unable to take place last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic; congratulates everyone involved in the celebrations on 4th December 2021; and looks forward to the continuing success of the centre throughout the next 50 (+1) years.
