Friends of Stonehouse Park

That this House congratulates Friends of Stonehouse Park on receiving £6,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands the group will organise a year-long programme of events in Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park in Stonehouse to enhance local people's enjoyment of the open space and woodland; and commends the Friends of Stonehouse Park on their outstanding work to promote the use of the park by young people through bulb planting and Christmas events.
