Winner of the Slow Food Person of the Year Award 2021 and BBC's Food Innovation Award 2021

That this House congratulates Andrew Whitely on being named UK Person of the Year in the Slow Food Awards 2021; further congratulates Scotland the Bread on winning the BBC’s Food Innovation Award 2021 for their Flour to the People project; commends the work by producers and farmers in supplying food stuffs during the pandemic; notes the importance of access to nutritious local food products; and notes the value of organic and traditional food production to biodiversity, nutrition, local employment, artisanal skills, community empowerment, social justice, and flavour.
