Sir Alex Ferguson statue at Pittodrie Football Stadium

That this House congratulates Sir Alex Ferguson, Aberdeen Football Club’s most successful manager of all-time, on the unveiling of a statue in his honour at Pittodrie Football Stadium; celebrates the monumental success he brought to Aberdeen FC, including winning the European Cup Winners Cup in 1983; and recognises the enormous positive contribution and influence Sir Alex has had on Aberdeen and Scottish football during his trophy-laden career.
