The Sporting Aces award at the Non-Profit Organisation Awards 2022

That this House celebrates local East Dunbartonshire charity organisation The Sporting Aces on winning the Best Sport Based Community Charity at the Non-Profit Organisation Awards 2022; understands The Sporting Aces to be the first and only charity in East Dunbartonshire aimed at promoting inclusion for multi-sport activity; notes the group work with adults, young people and children who have a range of physical, learning and communication difficulties to advance public participation in sport through provision of multi-sports coaching programmes; further notes their efforts enable participants to be successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens; recognises that this award comes after a challenging period for the organisation in the wake of covid-19 restrictions; congratulates everyone involved at The Sporting Aces on this tremendously well deserved achievement; and looks forward to seeing what more they will continue to achieve in the community in future.
