East Kilbride Heritage Group

That this House recognises the work of the East Kilbride Heritage Group in preserving and sharing the history of East Kilbride; acknowledges their efforts in engaging the local community with their heritage through events; appreciates their work in creating permanent displays at the John Wright’s Sport Centre and the Dollan Aqua Centre to celebrate and highlight achievements of the history of East Kilbride; and celebrates the publication of the book of recollections entitled Tales From Roundabout the Town which highlights the anecdotes and reminisces of people from East Kilbride who have been interviewed over the years.
