Tribute to Dunfermline’s iconic peacocks

That this House notes the tragic loss of one of Dunfermline’s iconic peacocks, Malcolm, following a horrific attack on 31 May; further notes that another bird, Louis, is recovering after being seriously injured during the incident; praises the overwhelming response from the community which raised more than £15,000 following the incident; further praises the work of the Peacocks in Pittencrieff Park group for all that they do caring for these birds, which have enjoyed the freedom of the city since 1907; wishes Louis a speedy recovery, and hopes to see him back strutting around Dunfermline very soon.
