Barrhead Youth Football Club fundraising

That this House commends Barrhead Youth Football Club after a recent successful fundraiser for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity; congratulates the club on raising almost £1,000 by undertaking a four-mile sponsored walk on the popular Dams to Darnley route; notes that Blair McMillan the team coach who organised the walk did so after experiencing recent health problems and recognises his personal input into making the fundraiser a success; notes that the club has 10 different teams which allows for young people to enter the sport irrespective of their ability; acknowledges that the Club will celebrate their 50th anniversary later this year; and wishes them every continued success for the future.
