East Kilbride Cricket Club

This House congratulates East Kilbride Cricket Club on their 60th Anniversary noting they are one of the oldest clubs in East Kilbride being founded in 1962; further notes that East Kilbride Cricket Club is entirely run by volunteers who have made a profound difference to the grassroots sport, congratulates the success of Nayma Sheik who played for Scotland Under 19 in the World Cup aged 16years whilst further congratulating Mohammed Ramzan ex International Test cricketer for Pakistan who provides coaching for the club; thanks East Kilbride Cricket Club for developing a women’s and youth team whilst engaging with local schools across the constituency to teach cricket to children as assisted by Steve Newman and Stevie Mann and wishes East Kilbride Cricket Club every future success for the years ahead.
