National Lottery Funding for Govan Youth Information Project (GYIP)

That this House congratulates Govan Youth Information Project (GYIP) based in Govan in the Glasgow South West constituency on their award of a £9,930 National Lottery Community Fund grant; understands this funding will be used to enhance the activities in their holiday programme for children aged 5 -13 years and host a community fun day in the Summer holidays for local families and organisations to attend; recognises GYIP delivers empowering and meaningful youth work to all children and young people within Govan area, providing support and information to their service users; and wishes Govan Youth Information Project the best with all its future endeavours.
