National Lottery Funding for Park Villa Football Development

That this House congratulates Park Villa Football Development based in Govan in the Glasgow South West constituency on their award of a £105,372 National Lottery Community Fund grant; understands this funding will be used to develop the Glasgow Club Drumoyne facility into a community sport and social hub that will provide a wide range of activities and opportunities for the broader community of Greater Govan, Cardonald and Craigton; recognises Park Villa Development offer a safe and empowering environment for over 250 children a week to embrace playing football as a positive alternative to anti-social behaviour through inclusion and a positive mental attitude; and wishes Park Villa Football Development the best with all its future endeavours.
